Rotary Eltham Town Festival
Date to be confirmed in 2013

The Rotary Eltham Town Festival is a major highlight in the Nillumbik Calendar.  Eltham comes alive with music, fireworks, displays, competitions, food, wine and an abundance of fun activities for the whole family.

Saturday activities include family focused fun at Eltham Town Square from 11.30 until 4pm.  Attention switches to Alistair Knox Park at 4.30pm where the finals of the Junior Idol will be held followed by a carnival, music, food and the legendary fireworks at dusk.

Sunday 11 November will see Alistair Knox Park come alive between 9am and 5pm with fun family entertainment, free rides for kids, three stages of music, a carnival, arts and crafts, a huge array of stalls, scarecrow competitions and treasure hunts, pet  parade and loads of food and wine to cater to every taste. A highlight will be the finals of the Senior Eltham Idol at 4pm.

Arthurs Creek Garden Walk
Date to be confirmed in 2013


Come along for a wonderful Spring day out and visit gardens ranging from native to cottage.
There will be six beautiful gardens open this year.  Starting at 9.30am from the Hall.
There will be devonshire teas and light lunch available, various crafts and plants for sale.

Artists Open Studios
November 2013 - dates to be advised

Come along and see talented artists at work!  For two weekends in November 23 Studios scattered throughout Nillumbik will open their doors providing a rare opportunity for the public to talk with, and see, artists at work.  Our artists cover many disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, textiles and photography and most of the work on display is for sale or you may wish to commission a special work.  Bookings are also available for workshops at many studios.

Hurstbridge Farmers Market
Sunday 3rd November

Come and support local stall holders and enjoy the rural atmostphere of Hurstbridge.  

This friendly and relaxed market has a range of stallholders from Nillumbik and surrounding regions selling free range meats (including pork, beef and buffalo), fresh seasonal fruit & vegetables, olives & extra virgin olive oil, honey, eggs, cheeses, bread, wine, gluten-free products and a range of specialty produce.

Entry is $2 and all proceeds go to the CFA, the Market’s community partner.

Eltham Community Craft and Produce Market

Diamond Valley Miniature Railway

The Diamond Valley Miniature Railway runs every Sunday throughout the year as well as Wednesdays during School Holidays.  Enjoy a great day out as you ride the popular miniature trains through tunnels and native bushland at Eltham Lower Park, Eltham.
